Dr. Mubarak was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1994 and obtained his medical degree in 1999 from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Michigan State University and his Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Mubarak’s interests include open and endovascular surgery. Dr. Mubarak is the son of Fayzeh and Asa’ad Mubarak, MD former thoracic and general surgeon at Lutheran Medical Center and he is married to Leslie Rose who practices as a rheumatologist in Denver. Dr. Mubarak enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and training for Ironmans of which he has completed three.
